If there's an issue on the Sydney Trains network or trackwork, what's to stop them diverting trains to terminate at Bankstown or Sydenham or North Sydney & direct passengers to the Metro? Same if there's an issue on the Metro network.

And if a bus is caught speeding or running a red light, what becomes of the driver? I haven't ever seen or heard of a bus being pulled over by cops mid-service. In the last year or so there was dashcam footage of a bus going through a red light in front of a Police car & getting pulled over jus...

That would encourage people to run res lights & not stop.

I'd remove it all together & just quadruple all traffic penalties. It'll encourage greater enforcement & those who break the law can pay the price.
