Re: CBD & South East Light Rail
It has suddenly dawned on the Government, that it might be a good idea to integrate L1&L2/L3. https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/adapt-trams-to-run-on-different-lines-government-says-20220307-p5a2dy.html?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR08mYthoxdNdGDa1ME3SeFaDRydy9h5qyNm...

Re: NSW Bus Observations 2022.
Since the return to school, Transdev North have cut a number of route services from the timetable.
No notice of the cuts , only happen to see them if you use a app.

Police say give nil value cards to residents, only problem being you need the minimum fare for the time (peak/off peak) to open the gates.

Re: Extra Covid 19 services
At Central this morning, I was chatting to the guard on the Canberra XPL. I joked about the small number of passengers on board, and he stated that only 32 passengers are carried and any overflow are carried in coaches. Running overflow coaches only seems to be something that has been put on for th...

Re: NSW Railway Observations - July to December 2018
All trains heading to Hornsby tonight are using the new third track between Epping and Thornleigh which means all northbound trains are skipping Beecroft, as the only station without a platform on the third track. Once again this has not been communicated properly to customers, there is no service ...

Re: Station Link Observations
All the buses I used on Sunday, as well as a couple of other ones I looked at, had the gotham arches, so different to the ones in your photos. I am planning to have another go on Tuesday afternoon. I am looking at the brochure trying to decide which route to attempt. The Macquarie area is a traffic...

Re: NSW Railway Observations - July to December 2018
The Limited stopping patterns were the idea of the powers that be, to simplify things for commuters (ie they could just remember what train stopped where by what the previous one did)
As for the frequency, supposedly that all comes off the Opal Stats, so seems to be a few fare evaders down that way.

Re: NSW Future Rail Plan - NWRL/Metro/Harbour Crossing
“Metro integration - service adjustments 2018 fact sheets” have started being distributed at some T1 stations, from contractors wearing “MySydney” attire. (Sadly no Lee Lin Chin to be seen). These fact sheets are much more honest about the changes than the media release and online information. The ...

Re: NSW Railway Observations - January to June 2018
Just looking at the Trip Planner and apps, they seem to be quite different to the timetable. I think there might be some problems with the data because the Trip Planner is now showing it as a CCN train and also says Berowra is a short platform which I don't think is right. When referred to as a CCN...
