Re: [Jan-Jun 2023] SA Transport observations

Amongst other things H30 has also finally had time cut off it. There’s actually some decent, albeit minor, timing changes in the routes I’m familiar with.

Re: [Jan-Jun 2023] SA Transport observations

The biggest “change,” I can spot is that at night now O-Bahn services leave At a 10 min headway on the hour rather then at 5 past the hour by moving them forward by 5 mins. Meaning the last service now leave TTP on weekdays at 2350 rather then 2355. The last service back to TTP remains at 0022.

Re: [Jan-Mar 2023] SA Transport observations

1190 which I haven’t seen out in ages was parked at G3 Grenfell yesterday with wires/cables attached to the outside not sure what that’s for. Additionally 3380 is now operating for Southlink. I believe their first artic VST.

Darwin Bus Cancellations.

Due to ongoing driver shortages the following services will not run between the 6th and 10th of February. Timetables will supposedly be update weekday as more services recommence. This change is to prevent different services being cancelled everyday and provide more certainty. Updated timetables can...

Free bus travel in Darwin

Due to on going issue with ticketing, all urban services in Darwin will be free until 31 December 2022. Fares will allegedly return from January 1. A large number of buses have been operating for months without DCU’s resulting in uncertainty as to wether fares are required or not. This has also caus...

Re: The Random Admet Question Thread

Not sure if this is the right thread but seems that since the mask mandate was dropped the roping off off front seats has stopped. Both Southlink buses I’ve been on today, something and 3220 had them removed and a couple of Torrens have had passengers in the front too.

CDC Berrimah buses 167 and 169 are now (possibly temporarily) operating out of Stuart Park depot and only for school runs that have also been transferred to the Stuart park depot due to staff shortages.

TT renumbered buses

Former Territory Transit buses will be renumbered into CDC numbers as follows; 123-134 will be 240-251; 70,71 & 73-89 will be 252-270. Numbered in order as previous. The 2 charter buses will not be transferred, I believe they’re going to sealink and the rest 120 and 122 I think are leaving entir...

The new Darwin bus contract due to begin 27/05/2022 (https://tendersonline.nt.gov.au/Tender/ClosedDetails/19107) will be awarded to Buslink. Territory Transit has been co-operating since 2014 and despite its best efforts has not been successful. All TT employees will be offered employment at Buslink...

Re: TerritoryTransit Scania Artics

The new timetables haven't been uploaded yet but the buses are running to them. They are mostly during peak times but ensure that there is at most 2 buses going out at once (that pass woolworths). The exception is when an i14C departs as they can have 3 buses leaving then. No orbital links have been...

Re: TerritoryTransit Scania Artics

The new Woolworths Bus stop is indeed to small. To give an idea of how much it's been reduced 2 rigid buses can barely fit into the space without blocking the entrance to woolworths. So I do understand why the artics would not be allowed to operate there anymore as it would hold up the trailing bus ...

TT's artics days are numbered. I spoke to one of the co-ordinators who was on duty at the new Woolworths Darwin City bus stop and I've been informed only 1 artic, 122 I assume is going to be used, and sparingly from now on and neither Arctic's are allowed to depart from the city, they are allowed to...

Re: TerritoryTransit Scania Artics

I believe so, bus 118 is back in the depot. Spotted today so I believe either 120 or 123 has headed over? Could be wrong about that but one of them is there now.
