Just for anyone looking, the confirmed correct gaps are 0.4mm Inlet, 0.7mm Exhaust.

Air supply
Hi guys, '87 B10M volgren, there are air hookup points front and back that I want to use for tyre inflation/ cleaning but they only have air to them whilst the compressor is actually pumping up the system. When its full and the compressor drops out, the air points get taken off line too. Anyone fami...

Not familiar with your rig but if it is a city bus the overall gearing may not suit highway work, you might need a diff as well?

Re: Double Decker to Mobile Home and Recording Studio
Wow! Digging up an 18 month old thread! Got to love the internet eh? LOTS of weight down low, not much up high. Typically rated for over 21 tonne of bus, passenger and luggage, not too stressed about a shell with some kitchen in it. They are pretty stable. That said, airbags and road cambers do get ...

Re: the fun begins
Diesel heating is a must. Plenty of fuel available from the bus tank, 2 litres runs it all day anyway. A/C (reverse cycle) split system is the better way to do cooling, ensure you get an "inverter" style to minimise start up loads and electrical use. With a roof full of solar panels you can run the ...

Re: tacho wiring B10M
Thanks Rob,
I figured it out but forgot to update this post. For lurkers in the future, the tacho sender polarity is critical, wire on the wrong side gets you nothing.
I dont suppose that manual is in electronic form??

Get it up to hot temperature and laser check the inlet and outlet temperatures of the radiator.
That will tell you if the radiator and fan are working OK, leave you with less options

tacho wiring B10M
Hello fellows, 1987 B10M volgren built DD, does anyone know of the tacho wiring system? There are only 3 pins on the gauge itself, "+" "-" and "w" The pulse is generated by a magnetic style switch on an engine gear. It worked OK before my wiring "modifications" but shows nothing at present with the ...

Re: Welcome to bus to motorhome discussions
I don't agree with your drill suggestion baggie, the drill end inside the drill can stuff up the internal chuck screw, seen it enough times now to only buy single ended ones, but by the packet, yes. Hell of a job, you must be going to insulate the void ? Quite right. But it wont happen much with a ...
