Re: List of Perth Bus Routes by Contractor

What if Canning and Southern River get operated by the incumbent from Kalamunda. Will Swan Transit still have any input from its other depots? Personally, now that Swan has Joondalup, it makes a lot of sense for Path Transit to take Canning and Southern River alongside Kalamunda. This makes it easi...

Re: Timetable project of mine

Update: I have let this project slide for the better portion of this year and am quite a way behind. Since becoming a Linux enthusiast last year, it has dominated most of my spare devoted to computers. As my main PC now runs Linux instead of Windows 7, I only have a Windows 10 laptop and I find lap...

I've also found whilst updating my timetable database that some changes don't make it onto the web site.

Re: List of Perth Bus Routes by Contractor

FYI, route 950 is allocated to both the Morley and Claremont contracts while route 960 is allocated to both the Morley and Kalamunda contracts. Each contract is allocated a specified amount of trips to operate (internally, I believe Claremont 950 trips are identified as 949 and Kalamunda 960 trips ...

Re: List of Perth Bus Routes by Contractor

As observed, my list is getting a bit long in the tooth as I've fallen behind by ~6 months. I am slowly updating the spreadsheet and will do the same with the contract/services list when I get to it. Spare time is a premium but I'll get there. For a year slowed down by Covid-19, there's been a lot ...

Re: PTA / Transperth Service Changes - 2020

Just a quick shout to those of you taking the time to document service changes. I use it try to stay on top of things to keep my timetable database up to date. As you can see in my sig, it's not been done for a few months as a lack of spare time and changing interests have taken their toll. Now tha...

Re: Interesting/Odd Buses

For me the most interesting looking buses I drove was 444 (different body shape and fully enclosed cash tray door) at Karrinyup and 747 (with the at skin off livery) at Palmyra. Also at Palmyra was 54 which at the time was decked out with MetroBus livery (like my avatar). Also worth a mention was t...

I believe the download link in my sig is fixed (for now). It appears Dropbox have changed the way files are shared which more than likely created the dead link. Re: Timetable project of mine

And on that note, does anyone have maps of the 8-12(?) series of routes, which as I understand were fairly long through routes from Nedlands to Beckenham, and the long series of routes that ran to the domestic airport? The only electronic version of those routes I have are in the Armadale 14 timeta...

Latest lot for 7th October. One omission I've noted with the stand changes in St Georges Tce is the 930 ( Timetable 208 ). This has not been reprinted to show the new stands so I've noted it in the pending section of the spreadsheet. I've also included the composite Timetable 87 and it's history - ...

"Bus Timetable 87" exists on 20171119, 20180128 and now 20181007, as the composited timetables along Morrison Road Midland. Routes included in this timetable are 313, 314, 315, 323, 324, 325 and 327. As described before this timetable will be updated as a pair from Bus Timetable 86. Thanks for that...

The 220 between Armadale & Cannington is also duplicated by the train it has very low weekend patronage the recent weekend withdrawal of the 249 reflects this and a lot of people either live within walking distance of the train station or have their own private vehicle and those travelling to the h...
