Re: Revisiting the Reimagined Adelaide Bus Network

Loops would work because you would combine two popular services into one and yes it would run both ways. Your not going to please everyone. It would be for example: Elizabeth Station - Davoren Park - Smithfield Station - Elizabeth Downs / Park - Elizabeth Station (and reverse!) It would help people ...

Re: Revisiting the Reimagined Adelaide Bus Network

It's very messy around Elizabeth and Salisbury. I think loops would work better. Have two between Elizabeth and Smithfield and inner and outer one would work, run it every 15 min to connect to the train, make it a Go Zone no need to run the 228 to the city, run a new 428 from Elizabeth to Mawson Int...

Re: [Jan/Feb 2018] SA Transport observations

The extra trains and trams are running on Saturday nights there's already after midnight services on many bus routes on Saturdays. The after midnight services should include trams and trains all the time.

Re: New Years Eve services

The train at Brighton at 10pm would be packed because the fireworks were at 930pm and everyone rushes for the next train, it happens every time, they should have had a extra train sitting at Brighton platform 2/3 waiting for the rush.

Re: City Tram Line Extension Works Detours

It's timetabled to take 19mins from ARS to Vic Square, it's about 1km if you walk, so walking would be quicker. Pity they couldn't terminate the trams at Rundle Mall and the Train Station, I know they have nowhere to store trams in the west but you could hire security to guard them, also probably no...

Re: New Years Eve services

O'Bahn buses (C1T) Will be operating every 7mins (approx.) between 3.36pm and 1.53am then every half hour until 4.26am. Will they be using 6 carriage trains for the Seaford services? especially the 1230 one.

Re: New Years Eve services

Usually if I remember correctly it's a N262 on NYE - It might be labelled as a 262 but it runs via the N262 route which is via Glenelg and Sturt Road, it doesn't service Brighton station.

Re: New Years Eve services

It's very annoying, as someone who has to work NYE it would be nice to know if I should drive or will a bus be available, I know they will run, but will it be a 262, N262, 263 or 265.

Lets see if this link works, its from the paywalled article above. http://cdn.newsapi.com.au/image/v1/b23c ... ?width=650
Data is a bit old but M44 is clearly the busiest route.

Re: Ideas for some Northern Suburb changes

A route TTP to Mawson Lakes via Montague Road would be simple and easy to implement say a 567 an New 547 - continuation of the 541 to Elizabeth via Golden Grove Rd and Lyell McEwin. The entire route system needs a re working, some routes just seem stupid like the 645/6, they should service Oaklands ...

Re: Ideas for some Northern Suburb changes

More train services are needed, then you can turn the 224, 228 into feeders, there's zero point in having so many buses servicing main north, south of Mawson Lakes, the freed up buses can be used as feeders into Smithfield, Elizabeth, Salisbury, Parafield and Mawson Lakes running more express trains...

I was reading the internet and saw Edinburgh North, I didn't realise Elizabeth West was renamed in 2011 to Edinburgh North. The bus depot is in Edinburgh North. Any other new suburbs I should know about lol apart from Edinburgh North, Lightsview and St Clair.

Potential changes to Goolwa to Adelaide bus services. Proposed changes would see terminating buses at Noarlunga Centre Interchange, which would be cheaper and free up buses and more services would be introduced - http://www.adelaidemetro.com.au/Announcements/News/Community-feedback-sought-on-propose...

Re: O-Bahn upgrades

So these services would only operate all doors on the O'Bahn and in the city? or is it all doors on an O'Bahn service? This would be so confusing, example: M44 say it's all doors Golden Grove to City but not Marion Road, would it be simpler to make the route an all doors route? or just the 4 stops G...

Re: Free Public Transport from 5pm New Years Eve 2016

The 262 seems to follow the N262 route not the 262 route. Are these services on top of the normal services? Example the normal Seaford services leave ARS on the hour and the NYE services leave hourly at half past the hour.

Always wondered why does the 605 terminate in such a random spot, it could easily extend to Flinders Medical Centre or Westfield Marion - just seems odd
