Yes, they submitted a bid for the Kalamunda contract but lost to Path.

To simply put it, there wouldn't be enough room on the timetable itself, increasing printing costs etc., and not all bus stops are timed stops, only about four or five on a route are. Anyway, for approximate times, people can use JourneyPlanner on the Transperth website and the new app.

Due to an incident on the Armadale/Thornlie Line, services between Cannington and Perth and all Thornlie line services have been cancelled, rail replacement is being organised. Trains will still run between Armadale and Cannington.

UPDATE: Services have returned to normal operation.

On the topic on 1564, I believe I may have seen it at the back of Canning Vale depot earlier today. I couldn't pick up the number because I was on the wrong side of the seat, but it looked like 1564.
