Re: Seaford Bus Depot
Seaford has it's own bus allocation however they go to Lonsdale if needed for servicing or repairs, returning to Seaford once done.

Re: LinkSA New Ticketing System Trial
On the current two hour timed travel it would be difficult. Only way would be to go to a tap on/tap off system which would be deeply unpopular.

Re: [Sept/Oct 2020] SA transport observations
How do you know it went from Hallet Cove Beach to Aldinga to do an up 750? Dead running from/to Marion/Flinders/Reynella is perfectly ok and needs to be done in order for some services to make their start times. Pretty difficult scheduling everything so it all fits together seamlessly. There have be...

Re: Results of Adelaide Metro rail tender
I wonder if this was why they didn't retain the Outer South area. Could be they were already the front runner for the rail so were deliberately not given the bus.

Re: Driver protection
Question to drivers - is your depot or company still looking at PPE for drivers? It's not just to protect the drivers against the passengers, it is also to protect them from the driver before them. While Covid 19 is not a real issue here in Adelaide, it only takes one or two careless people and it ...

That's only worthwhile if there's a school nearby. Nearest to the interchange is Reynella East and they're a bit old for that.

Re: Terminal Turnaround Times
I've had turnaround times of as little as two minutes. Depends on how the shift is put together and it makes no difference if it's city or suburbs somewhere. Southlink Sunday shifts sometimes had only one minute between runs (not good).

Re: Railway Terrace depot - 6 months on
Update: The depot at Railway Terrace has been in use for around 9 months now. The only food/drink outlets nearby are across the road and consist of a Subway, an overpriced coffee shop or the café in Bunnings. The facilities provided for drivers in the depot are a kettle, a microwave, a fridge and a ...

Doesn't that mean some numbers will be repeated? I thought that once a number had been used on a particular vehicle it wouldn't be used on another.
