Re: Transperth Service Changes - 2016
I can still see no evidence of the 30/1/4, 114, 115 services relocating to the busport. It is all conjecture. They are returning once the Mill St entry/exit lanes to EQBS have been reversed (Dec at this stage I believe) and they will traverse Mill - Tce - Milligan - Busport This is barely worth brin...

Re: Mount Lawley & other 'minor' station upgrades
Considering a new station is to be built at roughly the corner of Second/Brearley Aves, is it too hard too imagine the 935 terminating here in its entirety, eliminating the need for pesky short journeys? Considering that the current T3-4 are living on borrowed time (4 years?). So, when this precinct...

Re: Route 960 and Fitzgerald St Peak Period Bus Lanes
The 960 is obviously designed to be coordinated/integrated as per the current service levels provided by the 88x series along Alexander/Fitzgerald. Anyhow, it's very simple. Every second bus travels through to Mirrabooka as per current (and improved) 888 service levels, with however, the busier sect...

Re: Bus Drivers
My worst experience with a bus driver was when I jumped onto my local bus route, and decided to stand next to my now ex-girlfriend who was sitting down. This driver then started going off at me telling me to sit down since I was obstructing the way up to the back, so I *had* to sit down, which anno...

Re: Who Remembers?-Renault's Driven With A Open Doors
In 2014,as i was new to Perth,i saw Renault buses driven with open doors.Maybe the buses has no A/C or the bus was not in service. The problem could mean that drivers will feel pain by the operators.Despite being old,now it is normal because it was a bit bad to have it doors open especially in an in...

^^^ Up until recently, I was able to spot a yellow coloured luggage trolley with the word 'City' stenciled on it at Perth station. I don't know where it is now....
I think the old ADKs had 'CITY' instead of 'PERTH'??? Open to correction.

Using the free WiFi on 1657 (Provided by skyfii by Murdoch) I hate these volvo B7's they are the roughest busses I've ever been on... Surely you jest? I personally find that the Volvos (irrespective of model type) are the smoothest buses that Transperth have. Yes, I do admit there is some vibration...

Re: Doubt on Perth LRT future
Bi articulated buses may not be suitable for local roads....yeah, well, that could explain why combination trucks over 19m long are classified as Restricted Access Vehicles, not General Access Vehicles for that reason, as well as others, so the same would apply to articulated buses over 18m.
