Re: Why No Thanks Button in Lunch Room?
As I recall that thanks button was designed for transport-related posting and to assist users to build reputation on the board, e.g. somebody getting thanked a lot is a person who is willing to assist discussion with their own knowledge on a regular basis. There has been a lot of rubbish posted in T...

Re: Deleting posts
There are other cases of this exact issue occurring to certain users only and it is an absolute nightmare to try and resolve. Can you try a few things for me please: When you get the error message after trying to delete a post, could you check and see (before the page redirects) whether the forum is...

Re: Private Operators June 2015
Newcastle rail replacement services this weekend are departing Central from Chalmers St rather than the station forecourt, presumably to free up space for the HCVA services being operated as part of the Transport Heritage Expo. Combined with a fleet of Bankstown Coaches vehicles providing transport...

Re: The Metroliners (B10M mk3 and mk4)
A friend of mine took a photo at Granville Station a few weeks ago and it was like being in Brisbane again. Southside Bus & Coach, Coastal Liner, Telford's, Out 'n' About and others all had mk3 and mk4 Metroliners out and it was a sight to see! And I was lucky enough to be driving a good one :mr...

Seems to be based on type: 2xxx for luxury coaches, 5xxx for standard coaches, 6xxx for newish buses, 8xxx for old buses, 9xxx for middle age buses, but then 8005 and 9023 are both 1980s buses so who knows. 1xxx Ultra luxury coach incl toilet/wheelchair (newer) 2xxx Luxury coaches (various toilet/w...

Re: Who is the private Western Sydney operator about to loos
It certainly is the hot topic going around at the moment...overheard a few drivers talking about it today who were trying to work it out. Suffice to say all will be revealed...what will be more interesting is which operator picks up the contract if this does happen. I have a fair idea of one operato...

Rail is generally quiet after 12am except on special event days, then generally one train rocks up and deposits several hundred people and it's all full standing loads and a great revving of engines by the waiting cavalry...

Re: Bad bus bingle with a pole in newcastle.
I wouldn't envy anybody out driving in that weather, it was horrendous. High winds doing their best to send me out of my lane on Pacific Mwy, Steering nearly 1/8 to the right to hold the bus in its lane on a straight. The wind and rain was enough to cause the wipers on the brand new low floor I was ...

Re: STA Observations - May 2015
Confirming it was 3936. I drove the other way in a low floor after the fire was extinguished and an ambulance and multiple police vehicles were present. Outbound traffic was reduced to one lane and traffic was at a standstill. All passengers and driver not seriously injured and an idiot driver going...

That's strange. I just right click the individual post link and select "copy link location"... then paste it... That's strange. When I right-click and select copy link location and then paste it, exactly like you said you do, I get a different link, which works. I even tried mirroring you...

To keep us in line with web standards and yet still have the forum names etc visible (both of which are requested above), I have added a short "ATDB" title in both prosilver and subsilver2.

It can take up to 48 hours for updated DNS records to replicate across the Internet. Hopefully most people would be directed to the correct server by now.
