New in September 1982, this bus was delivered to MAN Australia as a demonstrator with an imported kit body assembled by Custom Coaches. It demonstrated for several operators and was leased to the BCC (fleet no 999) until 1986. It then joined the pre-existing fleet of Action, Canberra MAN SG192s as BUS 672. 672 was withdrawn along with the other artics, and ended up at Nowra Coaches on town school runs. By 6/04 it was sold to International Stagelines, Burswood, WA as TC 4214, then to National Bus Lines, Burswood as TC 4749.
