July 2023 AdMet timetable changes

Post by hillsbus »

With the consultation on amendments to the 230/232 timetable hinting at service changes in July 2023, has anyone had any insight onto what other changes may occur?

Potentially the Gawler train timetable and feeder buses with more 4000 class trains running by then?

Mt Barker service improvements given the extra funding allocated in the last State Budget?

I think any future changes/improvements will only happen after they have been open to public consultation (other than minor time adjustments) - as seen with the 230/232 proposals. It would certainly avoid any repeats of the New Network in 2020.
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).
Last person on 164, 867, 868

When i spoke with one of the project team members regarding the 230/232 changes I asked when it was likely to happen she suggested around May, possibly due to traffic management plans the Port Adelaide Enfield Council have / are undertaking in the Croydon/Devon/Dudley Park areas. A change in the July school holidays would make sense.

Hopefully that includes the closing of the level crossings at Belford Avenue and Pym Street and the direction of traffic to the bridges at Torrens Road and Regency Road.

The corner of Pym St and Exeter Tce has been slightly widened near the cemetery to allow heavy vehicles to turn right out Exeter, and it seems that some land has been acquired from the Japanese Car business on the opposite corner to possibly allow for a turning lane to be built for left turns into Exeter Tce, there is quite a large stobie pole on that corner that would take a fair bit to move it.

The updated pdf for the 300 route is Version 27, 24 July'23. At Station Info yesterday, they gave me v26, 1 May'23, entitled Temporary Timetable.

That means I guess that both versions are the same and that v27 is the definitive one ?

The July 24th versions of the 300 and 190 aren't mentioned in Admet Updates, unlike the 195/6 etc. ( The updated route 190(v18) is both paper and pdf ). This means that some updated versions are simply Reprints ?
That's the way the whole thing started, silly but it's true ...
