Re: Temporary Bus Route Timetables

The timetables for both tomorrow and 20 August are now available for 7 out of the 9 Olympic Park routes. The exceptions are route 2 for which only the timetable for tomorrow is available but also a current timetable with Thursday trips only and route 4 for which currently nothing is showing.

The timetables for routes 10HU and 15HU for 24th August etc show as usual as being operated by Hunter Valley Buses with Opal Card available.

Timetables for route 40T7 for tomorrow and routes 80L2 and 80L3 for 21 to 23 August all show the operator as Transdev John Holland. The previous time 80L2 and 80L3 were operated it was Transdev NSW which no longer exists, so they are keeping them in the Transdev family.

The operator of Route 4 has not been consistent. Last night it was operated by Transdev John Holland, but on Saturday it was operated by Transit System. It is possible that the operator for Sunday has yet to be determined leading to the delay in publishing the timetable.

Today is the final day of the Olympic Park routes for the Women World Soccer Championships with route 4 still as documented previously while route2 is now a link page only with no timetables.

Route 60F3 for the Parramatta Ferry replacement service has had a timetable since February when there was an outage until April operated by Hillsbus (CDC NSW). The timetable has now finally gone with only a link page still with the Hillsbus code although it has been posted that the upcoming September replacement service will not be operated by CDC NSW.

Route 60F3 now has a timetable which shows Hillsbus as the operator and unlike the previous timetable, it has a finishing date. Also Tripview stopped tracking it yesterday probably until 4th September when it restarts..

Western Line timetables for 1 to 3 September 2023 - route 1ABM has two separate timetables.
One covers one trip on Friday night and all day Sunday operated by Blue Mountains Transit.
The other timetable covers all day Saturday operated by rail replacement operators.
And because they done by "different" operators the two timetables need separate link pages to the timetables.

Very few timetables lately with Operator names for rail replacement services. Just saw two for 60T8 and 61T8 for 16 September showing Transdev John Holland,

Route 62T8 for 16/9/2023 shows the operator as Busways - the previous time it operated it was Transdev John Holland.

Route 10L! for 18/9/2023 shows the operator as Trandev John Hollandto keep it in the Trnasdev family - previously Transdev NSW,

For the Bankstown Line outage starting 23/9/2023 5 timetables so far do NOT show the operator - 2 more to come. These routes usually do show Operator for all routes.

There is still very little evidence that with the new contracts, all temporary routes would be attached to a particular region for timetable purposes.

11M and 12M Metro routes for 7 October show Hillsbus as the operator.

There are 10 HU routes with temporary timetables for the 4th October all but 9HU show Hunter Valley Buses as the operator. For route 9HU there is a link page which contains region code 46 which belongs to Hunter Valley Coaches, but the timetable shows as "not available".

On the other hand for the Bankstown line outage which started today, there are 2 routes for which no timetables are available:-
33T3 has a link page with region 6 region code 74 but timetable shows as not available.
14T3 No link page or timetable.

Route 33T3 now has two link pages - one pointing to region 74 and one to region 12 - both TSA regions. Both show timetable not available.

There has been very little worth reporting recently.

For 19th November the timetable for route 11m for the Metro is one of the few timetables to show the route operator's name but it is still Hillsbus and not CDC NSW

Route 329x will be in operation on Boxing Day between Circular Quay and Watsons Bay. This is the former X24 service that was renumbered earlier this year.

Would anyone be able to tell me if any “Route 40T9” train replacement bus ran on Saturday? There was a sign up at my local station for this bus and stopping pattern but a different bus that wasnt advertised kept coming instead and we gave up waiting. The drivers were equally confused and of no help, other than to say their bus was not the one on the sign.

According to this post, no it didn't. The sign must have been an old one.

What was a 40T9 meant to be?

What did you see instead?
