You didn't (at first) state either the operator (or what the equivalent of each will be), all you said was "Sorry to see (d) stops making an unwelcome return. That archaic practice had been phased out."simonl wrote:But I didn't say that.crimsontide wrote:Suggesting Countrylink services lose there set down only stops had the same effect on me.

The Cityrail timetable shows it will stop if required on weekdays at Bell to Central.
Wonder if this train service will last? It is reasonably close to other services that serve Central - Bathurst & v.v.
Depending on the stops, the train times between Lithgow - Bathurst - Lithgow are roughly the same as the coaches & around 5 or so minutes slower than the express coaches.
And how (if any) has an Endeavour been modified that will provide this service? Does it include a small buffet, especially at some of the times it runs, and for the length of time of the trip?
PS: Please don't tell me they will use the same existing Endeavour seats for this 3hr 40 - 45 minute journey.

My understanding is they just put a loo(s) in it.
I think it will last the first term of this government.

Endeavours already have a loo. http://www.cityrail.info/about/fleet/endeavoursimonl wrote:My understanding is they just put a loo(s) in it.
And at the moment, by the looks of it, their only term in government!simonl wrote:I think it will last the first term of this government.
