Here's a couple from when I was working in Mackay in the mid '90's for B&S Bus Hire out at Nebo (now known as BusIt Nebo)
The Denning Mono is called The General and is shown outside the North Goonyalla Coal Mine, with the Landseer behind it...
and the Landseer is called Sgt Major and is shown at a truck stop on the Bruce Highway on the way back from Ingham.

What beautiful photos! These are the vehicles that I love to be involved with, true classics and great to look at as well as stir up memories with. Thanks for posting them.

Yes, the black colour scheme was an early colour when Steve only had the runs to Goonyalla and a run in Emerald.

The Sundowner Coach was a "Mono-seer" - it started life as a Denning Mono at Blackstone Busways as No 25 (Their last new Coach) then transferred to Sundowner Scenic Tours in 1985 as No 27. In 1988 (about August) it fell over on the Pacific Hwy 20km South of Woodburn heading to Brisbane. According to article in paper (probably the Courier Mail) "30 people were injured. The driver was charged with culpable driving. The passengers said the vehicle fishtailed several times before crashing and rolling over several times." This was in the Jellside days. The picture (and from what I remember of seeing it back in the depot at Redbank) has the top half twisted at about 30 degrees to the body from the windows up, but the bottom half stayed in tacked quite well.
