As noted, induction in progress and gearing up to full operation.Plenty of signage in place, all builders temporary screening, huts and rubbish removed. All parking bays both buses and employee parking all painted and buses parked in marked bays including withdrawn vehicles in allocated North East corner.

As per Georges River Council planning requirements, only one way in to depot and out of depot including road signage prohibiting movements along Vanessa Street in southern direction ( past The Crescent) towards Beverly Hills. All buses must travel via Kingsgrove to and from Depot.

Any Metrobuses? With up to 60 buses you would think that route M91 would also be a likely candidate for Kingsgrove.

Lourie,
One of the reasons for establishing Kingsgrove was to remove a lot of dead running to depots such as Taren Point and that several of the Transdev Depots are at full capacity such as Taren Point.Have a couple of driver mates from Taren Point Depot who are taking up the opportunity to move over as they actually live quite close to the new depot.

It has not been unusual to see red Metrobuses at Miranda on workday mornings as well as other times. Generall either on route 969 passing through between Sutherland and Cronulla between M92 trips from Sutherland or on route 961 between Metrobus routes - generally only a few minutes at Miranda before it returns to Barden Ridge,
But things seemed a bit unusual this morning.
Firstly m/o 9625 was parked at Miranda for some time - initially I thought it may have been for the 961 trips which departs just after 10am but it was still there when I had another look at about 10.30.Just showed Charterbus and no route number.
But then even more unusual was red m/o 5069 on the 10.35 departure on route 971 to Hurstville. I have never seen such buses on route 971 as I believed it to be totally Taren Point which has no red buses.
So the thought crossed my mind that this may now be a Kingsgrove shift where the bus may be doing a route 971 trip between route M91 trips from Hurstville. Just a thought.

PS I still could not display Kingsgrove buses from the front page of the fleet list - it works for other depots.

5069 is now a Kingsgrove bus. The full list of changes will be updated this evening. The drop down list will be amended too.

Saw Mercedes O500LE Bustech VST m/o 7424 (ex 303) running M91 at Bankstowns towards Hurstvillle. It had Taren Point accreditation but not sure if it either moved to Kingsgrove or Menai or temporary transfer to either, or the possibility of Taren Point picking up m91 running.

No as mentioned above it appears that this may be another bus which has gone to Kingsgrove which is thought to have taken over M91 shifts from Menai - which would appear logical.

Thanks for the update Daniel.
Kingsgrove now shows 27 buses mainly from Taren Point with 5 metrobuses from Menai.

From Punchbowl Tiger Cub's post I took it that 8393 and 7512 were withdrawn and stored at Kingsgrove - not in an active state.

Also 7424 seems to hae moved as it was seen at Bankstown on a Metrobus route - I would not expect Taren Point to be operating that.

Interesting that Taren Point has lost all its 2011 new buses to Kingsgrove.

I was at Miranda again at 10.35 this morning and saw one of the 2011 buses transferred to Kingsgrove doing the 971 trip to Hurstville. The driver confirmed that he was from the new Kingsgrove depot and he was surprised that his shift included this trip on the 971. So we will see some Kingsgrove buses in Miranda.

Seeing 287 doing the 10:05am Kogarah bound 947 yesterday morning witch means that Taren Point might still have some rostered 947s I might need to make a trip to Kingsgrove next Wednesday to find out if 287 has been transferred or not as I get out late on Fridays stay around Campbelltown on Saturday and Sunday and work on Monday and Tuesday
