Scania L94UA CB60
Iveco C260 CB80

The rest come down to individual units. Anyhow, these would be K320UA 1148, and MAN SL202 424
So you'd rather ride a K280/CB80 than a L94UA/CB60? I personally quite like the L94UA/CB60, they are an attractive looking bus. Defintiely better than the alternative (K360UA/CB80), even if most of their turntables seem to squeak.

My least favourites would be:
Scania K---/CB80
Iveco Metro C260/CB80
MAN 11.190/PMC 160
Scania K---/Cb60 Evo II (O-Bahn stuff only, most others of this type are OK)
Scania L94/CB60 (rigid)
First person on 822, 865 (2016 re-route).
Last person on 164, 867, 868

I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

Those new TransJabodetabek Hino units look like the old Ankai coach that Murray's had/have. I do like the new LaksanaBus/Scania K310IA units that TransJakarta now have.

Thanks,
Mitchul :)

Well since the invasion of the Delorean buses in Adelaide, I guess my list will have to be downgraded to include the slightly less appealing ex Serco SL202s (excluding a couple).

Consists of the following:

MAN SL202s 880, 859, 842, 898, 841.

The low floor list hasn't changed since my lost post.

Most disliked: Have a guess. There are literally some bodies infesting Adelaide in large quantities that I find more uncomfortable to ride than the CC jackpot CB80s. The interior walls look like they're drawn on with a crayon, and the seats hit you in the back every time the vehicle goes over a bump. Not to mention the window line. I thought it was 2019, not 1934.

Alright, let's me update the list.

BY ENGINE SOUND:
1. Volvo B8RLE/A, ZF EcoLife, Volgren Optimus
2. Volvo B12BLEA, Voith DIWA 864.5, Volgren CR228L
3. Mercedes-Benz O405NH (Diesel), Voith DIWA 864.3, Volgren CR225L
4. Volvo B7RLE, ZF EcoLife, Volgren Optimus
5 - Definitely not a Merc OC500LE CNG. Not 'grizzly' enough. Once I score a ride on the 'Oddballs' (3000-3002) (or international) I can decide.

AESTHETICALLY - EXTERIOR:
1. Volgren Optimus
2. Custom Coaches CB80
3. Volgren CR228L 'Futurebus'
4. Laksana Karoseri CityLine2
5. Bustech XDi/VST

AESTHETICALLY - INTERIOR:
1. Volgren Optimus
2. Volgren CR228L
3. Bustech XDi/VST - Disregarding the window-line. Hopefully it gets fixed.
4. Laksana CityLine 2
5. Custom Coaches CB80
I'd post any important, bus-related links I had, but they're outdated anyways.

I'll update my list as well. Why not?

In no particular order, not limited to Australia or international:

1. Solaris Urbino. The most recent model, not the ones prior.
2. VDL Futura. Rode one through a lot of Europe and absolutely loved it.
3. Any Express bodied Scania. They're what I grew up on and I still love them to this day.
4. The CR221L styled CR228L.
5. The Coach Concept's that are in the Dyson's (ex-Wangaratta) fleet. They're the best presented and most comfortable buses I've ever been on.

Regards,
Mitch

Here's my favourite starting with the Makes and Body combos (these won't be in any particular order)

Volvo B7RLE Volgren Optimus

Iveco Metro Custom CB80

Scania K230IB Volgren SC222

Scania K270IB Custom Coaches SB400

Mercedes-Benz 0405NH Custom Coaches 550

By Depot / Operator

7788 MO - Mercedes-Benz 0405NH Custom Coaches 550 - This bus survived a fire and it still lives on, it also has coach seating like seats instead of the plastic-y chairs the other same makes feature. Might've also been an Ansett bus in it's previous life as I think it use to have a rear door that has seen been long removed and replace with an Emergency exit window.

3621 MO - MAN 12.220 Custom Coaches CB30, this one since being transferred to Singleton a long time ago has had new fabric applied to the seats as well as lighting and runs a lot smoother compared to the Thornton Counterparts of the same make hence why this one is my favourite. - Hunter Valley Buses Singleton

7890 MO - Volvo B7RLE Volgren Optimus, the only Volgren Optimus in the Thornton fleet that has the new Volvo indicator sound and different seat fabric(I think?) compared to the other Optimuses in the fleet here. - Hunter Valley Buses Thonton

7601 MO - Mercedes Benz 0405NH CC 550 - One of the Few "550" bodied benz in it's early days to apparently spend time at Thornton in the early 00's before being transferred to Sydney for Hillsbus and spending some lengthy time there and then back to Thornton sometime after 2014. - Hunter Valley Buses Thornton

m/o 3406 - Mercedes-Benz 0405N Ansair Orana, only two 0405N Benz low-floor buses are known to exist on a low floor Ansair Orana body and both have some history being it being originally a Sydney bus in 1998 and being mainly used for Airport Express services when they still operated. Guessing after the Airport express service ceased that's when it was sent down to Newcastle and has remained ever since but there were apparently plans in 2010 or some time after that to transfer them back to Sydney, glad that fell through as otherwise these 2 Benz would've probably been since withdrawn. I've always wanted to ride m/o 3406 but due to it's rarity and only being two of time (m/o 3405 being the other) it's very hard to catch them and know when and where they'll be operating. - Newcastle Transport

Bonus - By Rarity

Csepel 844.31 Custom Coaches CB60 - Only 3 Csepel 844.31's are known to exist with a Custom Coaches CB60 body, originally one having been ordered by Baxters Bus service in 2000 with another two being ordered two years later. Westbus took ownership of All 3 of these Buses at some point (forget when) but eventually they made their way down to Hunter Valley Buses Thornton in 2014 and have all remained there ever since (with the 2000 Make Csepel since having been withdrawn leaving only two left on the Road) Sadly they spend 100% of their time on School bus routes and have hardly seen a day on route service so I have never gotten to ride it. - Hunter Valley Buses Thornton

Volvo B6LE Custom Coaches - These particular buses are what I'd consider Midi buses due to their size, only 3 remain at the Thornton HVB Depot and nowdays are rare to catch out on service except during a driver change over where I assume it gets driven back to the Depot. This particular CC body has no model Number oddly, so I nicknamed it Custom Coaches "545" as the interior of these buses resembles a Custom Coaches 550 interior. These Buses started their life off at National Bus in Queensland sometime in 1998 and eventually were transferred to Hunter Valley Buses Thornton some time in the early 2000's. - Hunter Valley Buses Thornton
