The headlight and blinker assemblies look to be identical to those found on Toyota HiAce vans from the 1980s.

I hope I get to ride it one day on rail replacement. It will certainly soak up a throng and have the performance to move them.

Tiger Bendi is a 83 seater, with fixed coach seats, and its not likely to be doing rail replacement, only carrying the next generation of car thieves and graffiti artists in the St George area of Sydney.

My video from when it had the Allison (i.e. before it got repowered with MAN engine/ZF Auto) is now on Youtube. There are a few videos already uploaded by others as taken on the Casula/Kingsgrove tour in 2016, my video from that day will be uploaded at a later date
Allison version, as filmed on the way to a McAwardsNight in Campbelltown on Sep 29 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYrJYs8Ftjs

A TL11 engine can only blow up so many times before you source alternative power!

It's still a bit slow with MAN/ZF, but sounds completely different and goes a bit better too

Well, I guess MAN have traditionally powered artics for a long time and it was time for the TL11 to retire.

just a quick question about something I've always wondered in cases like this. If the bus has been repowered from a Leyland to an MAN, does that legally mean that it's no longer a Leyland and the rego sticker / paperwork would be changed to MAN?

Just curious.

Thanks in advance.

No, don't believe so. Chassis make is what counts. What about all the buses out there that have engines supplied by another maker?
Example: a Leyland Worldmaster with a GM two stroke fitted by an operator is still a Leyland Worldmaster, not a GM.

The rego details still show it as a Leyland - the chassis is still that.

The paperwork would have to be changed to show the new engine number, and a certificate/compliance plate provided to certify the conversion.
