From the BT Buses site:

731 has been listed as "Withdrawn" since October 2016.
805 has been listed as "Non-Operational" since January 2016 (although if plates have been removed, maybe it should be withdrawn)
762 has been listed as "Withdrawn" since January 2016.
798 is still listed in service; however, I haven't seen it in service since January 2016.
826 has been listed as "Non-Operational" since January 2016.

Are you saying that any of these statuses are now wrong?

I also note that there is only one Scania (719) on the Manheim list for auction this Wednesday, even though there are still dozens parked at Eagle Farm going nowhere so I guess they can't even give them away.

Going past yesterday I can say it's 761 not 731 on the fence with 805, 826, 798 and 762. 732 has also been on the fence but it now in full advert livery.

Interesting to see that the latest Scanias to be transferred from V to G are 801, 802 and 803 rather than 725, 727 and 728 (the next three units after 723 that was transferred in March).

Maybe more of the 700 series Scanias are going to be withdrawn soon and no point in transferring them before withdrawal??

804 and 805 are in service at Garden City despite fleetlists saying otherwise.

761 and 826 were still parked near the front fence today just closer to Ferric Street.

761 looked to be without rego plates.

820 was parked nearby, also seemed to be lacking rego plates.

Scanias 716, 728, 750, 758, 760, 764, 768, 770 and 780 are now listed on the Manheim site for auction on 15 June 2016, although none of them are listed as yet as withdrawn on the BT Buses website.

The 30-odd Scanias offered at auction in February 2016 are still parked at Eagle Farm Depot so I can't really see how any of these will sell.

Next Manheim auction is tomorrow - there are ten Scanias listed on the website: 716, 728, 750, 751, 764, 768, 780, 784, 785, 789.

751, 784, 785 and 789 are first-time lists.

758, 760, 770 were still listed a couple of weeks ago but have now been removed - Sold???

With several lanes full of Scanias at Eagle Farm, I wonder what was special about these three to be sold?

Don't forget the 10-odd that are at Sherwood too - taking up very valuable lane space!

BTBuses now shows the following Scanias as being withdrawn in July 2016:

716 728 750 751 758 760 761 764 768 770 780 784 785 789 798 826

However, I have seen 761 and 798 in service in July (761 only a few days ago) and 826 is still parked at Virginia Depot along the front fence so reporting these as withdrawals looks to be premature.

No Scanias are currently listed on Manheim for auction.

No Scanias are listed for tomorrow's auction at Manheim.

I assume that BT don't want to pay for the auction listing for the Scanias still parked at Eagle Farm and Sherwood as there doesn't seem to be a market for gas buses...

Noted today that 820 and 826 have disappeared from the front fence at Virginia - 761 came back into service in the past couple of months so I wonder whether 820 and 826 are coming back into service too...

(BT Buses website has showed 826 as being withdrawn for a few weeks now whilst it was still parked at Virginia but it has not yet appeared on the Manheim site for disposal.)

My sources tell me the reason for withdrawing the Gas Scanias was the cost to replace the gas tanks with new ones or recertify the old ones for further use - quoted cost for the work was around $60k per bus.

Just wondering being based in Sydney if the location of who purchased the Scanias that were sold off for scrap and location/current condition of these buses is known - have another party who is possibly interested in a couple of spares items to recover.

Scania in Pinkenba, Brisbane have some that they may sell some parts off. Whites Diesels at Sandgate also.
The ones been sent for scrap are already gone and are coming back as Yutongs. There are another 9 in the line up to go soon, what are they/you after?
