I have to make correction to it. This is not on Scania chassis, is on in house BCI FBC6125 chassis, designed for NZ and Australia market (if GVW ever raised)

Is the MAN NL323F/Gemilang demonstrator still with Ritchies? Or has it moved on somewhere else?

SkyBus Auckland's Facebook show's they have two of them in their fleet and they are expecting delivery of more.

Thanks,
Mitchul :)

Looks quite nice in the Ritchies livery. Looks very Ventura Melbourne-esque.

Thanks,

It does look good, so does the double decker above. Just nice to see anything new that isn't Custom Coaches.

Does anyone know if this bus has been bought by Ritchies of GoBus.

It was intended as a Demonstrator in Sydney....but seems to have remained in NZ.

No, returned to Australia earlier this year and currently on trial with Latrobe Valley Bus Lines in Victoria. Most likely to be displayed in the Australian Bus & Coach Show in Sydney next month too.

After reading the article above noticed the sale of NZ bus to Next Capital last December. Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else. Of interest is that Next capital are the same company who Sold Forest to CDC less than 6 months before reinvesting in buses.

SKYBUS,as most people know operate Airport to the City and North Shore, since lockdown,Airport to City Hotels with people to go into isolation buses are loaded and then the driver is told which hotel to go, some have told to Rotorua which is fine, but with no toilet on broad there have to 2 or 3 toilet stops along the way, all buses are all under police escort, New Zealand Landsport have weaved all rules for isolation buses,

NZ Herald---> Auckland gets a new rail operator to run 4000 weekly train trips
Auckland will have a new passenger rail operator from next year after the current operator, Transdev, failed to win a new tender.

Following an international tender to run the city's rail services, worth about $130 million a year, Auckland Transport has today awarded an eight-year contract to Auckland One Rail - a joint venture comprising ComfortDelGro Transit Pte Ltd (CDGT) and UGL Rail Pty Ltd (UGL Rail).
