Hi guys

Just letting everyone know that if anyone is interested and has an older Volvo bus (b58 mostly) we are having a clear out of mostly new unused (and most still in original packaging) from our workshop at Wisby's. I will list what we have below but if you want to contact us if your interested please go through Mark Wisby (0458678078) or Danny Wisby (0417351958).

Volvo B58 parts
Bearings
Seals
Speedo heads
Gauges
Thermostats
Bearings
Air compressor repair kit
Exhaust brackets

If we don't find anyone that wants them they will be thrown out which would be a shame so if you guys know anyone who might have a use for these parts please call Danny or Mark :)
Cheers John

Btw just a quick note to let you guys know that Doug has also bought another Hino. It will be coming down from Lismore just before Christmas. More details to come when she arrives

Thanks for that Chris.
I was under the impression it was coming from j&b's in lismore as Doug has had the picture of it floating around the lunch room. The other hino you mentioned is already on one of our runs and is also from lismore.
The picture he has is a p&d body hino.

Also in other news one of our Harris park buses looks like it's sold (b40gk) I'll be sad to see her go but I guess even twins need to go their own way :/

Anyway if I don't post on here again till the new year everyone have a great Christmas and happy new year :)

That's right, I remember Doug mentioning J & B now John. Because I tried to get on Fleet Lists and find it when he told me

Just a quick update from Wisby's for everyone before we all enjoy or christmas break :)

Ex Harris park CG277K Hino B40GK is now officially sold to Oakleys Coaches Margate and has had it's new signage out on it on Thursday night, goodbye old friend :)

Our new Hino from J&B's Lismore is officially coming down today from devonport

Our old mate B10M Volvo A24CQ is now officially sold (not sure who to but I believe it's going to become a camper)

So again everyone have a good Christmas and a happy new year :)

The J&B Lismore Hino RG230 MO-5233 was sold to Wallers Nimbin as MO-5233 Hino RG230 2970-MO has come from Nimbin not Lismore. So Wisby C41TU comes from the town of wacky weed (Nimbin).

How can you quote a rego of C41TU when it isn't registered in Tasmania?
We are talking about a new acquisition, not what they already have.

To clarify the definition of new,

new: adjective

1.of recent origin, production, purchase, etc.; having but lately come or been brought into being.

Bedford-29 wrote:Well someone did as its in the fleet list and even on Wisby fleetlist as C 41 TU.
You can read back through the posts in this thread and find that you mentioned it. No one else.
If you read all of the information on Fleet Lists (as that is gospel), you will see it was acquired over 2 years ago.

For your records, (at the time of this post) new registrations in the state of Tasmania now lead with the letter E.

Rather than just throw these bits out, have you considered trying to sell them on eBay/Gumtree/etc?

Would be a few of these around as motor homes, etc, so there may be a wide market for parts beyond this forum

Might earn a bit of cash for your projects?
