New Years Eve-Midnight-to-Dawn Timetables

Post by jibb »

Adelaide Metro have now released on their website full details of services, plus City stopping places map,as well as Glenelg.A special tram timetable will operate throughout the day on Wednesday 31st.December,with increased frequencies after 700pm.
Shuttle buses will supplement the tram services between (1)Adelaide Railway Station and Maxwell Terrace Glenelg East,(2)Adelaide Railway Staion and Wigley Reserve Glenelg,as well as return services from both locations.
In previous years I believe Southlink operated these shuttles,so would assume similar arrangements would be in place this year.

I seem to remember Torrens Transit operating the shuttles up until 2011; when Light-City took over operations.

The tram supplement (not substitute) services along Anzac Hwy fall into the North-South contract area so Light-City Buses operate them. Usually it's a mix of silver artics and O-Bahn artics.

From memory based on the years that Torrens Transit operated them; they didn't run to a timetable, running on an "as required" basis, although once a bus started to get loading; it was out shortly thereafter.
