I have fond memories of the "Busy Bees" when I lived in Sandy Bay .Got to know quite a few drivers who were onthe "Busy Bee" roster. Used to catch the one that came along near Caltex Regent Street at about 7.25am and catch the 5.50pm outward home

What were these like to drive?
Judging by that awkward little wheelbase underneath that boxy body, were they a little roly-poly? lol

Very bouncy, some were jerky through the gears, very stiff suspension. Some liked them, but majority HATED driving them. Not good if you have a bad backSTA 1440 wrote:What were these like to drive?

Same as the Adelaide Buckets, they are the worst buses for passenger and drivers ride.
They are like Jelly on a plate.

Re: M.A.N. 10.180 - Busy BEEs
Hi all,
Would anyone happen to have a workshop or parts manual for a MAN 10.180 (1991)?
Original or even a good photocopy (or scanned pdf version) would be fine.
Happy to pay a fair price.
Also, I realise these MAN Midis operated in Tas... and I'm on the Gold Coast... but can anyone advise any good places to obtain parts from? (e.g. head and manifold gaskets, fuel pump kit, etc.)
Thanks.
Regards, BusBrad
