Re: Using Mobi Info Edit (MIE)
Perhaps the controller or desto board doesn't have the same font pack as your copy of MIE. Try using 13x9, 13x8, 7x8, 7x7, 6x6, 5x5 fonts, these seem to generally work okay.
Time for a new signature!

Mobi Info Edit Basic replaces the ZEdit software. It is very user friendly..it is easy to use..

Does anyone know how to add 4 letters to the route number? I can get 864F to work bit not T840. Is there a reason for this?
Any help appreciated

Re: Using Mobi Info Edit (MIE)
I fiddled around with it and it seems any letter after "F" won't work, regardless whether its infront or behind the number. I even got thiings like B10C to work, but with any letter after F it seems like you'd have to put it in the same front size as the number, but in the 'destination' section.Adelaide Hills DD wrote:Does anyone know how to add 4 letters to the route number? Here's a quick T840 desto I made:
Here's a really rough 864F desto: I know all of the numbers and writing jumps around, but that was my dodgy screenshotting. Not bad for a first attempt though.
As it's a static desto, I couldn't see any point in making it a .gif file. Here's a really rough 864F desto: I know all of the numbers and writing jumps around, but that was my dodgy screenshotting. Not bad for a first attempt though.

Re: Using Mobi Info Edit (MIE)
I can only hazard at a guess, that the reason it won't go past F is the controller (or at least Perth's can't go past F).Lt. This one worked for me a few weeks ago. You need to download it then unzip it. After that you need to install it, and then you're ready to go.philm wrote:Found a working download link for ZEdit32: https://mega.co.nz/#!T0VXgRKZ!AvvYEVLMh ... 2d_gV8LKpQ

I'm having issues with Zedit at the moment.
When I try to open it, I get an error message saying:
If anyone knows how to fix it, I'd appreciate it.

I managed to fix the aforementioned issue by uninstalling and then reinstalling the program.

Re: Using Mobi Info Edit (MIE)
What are the dimensions of the MobiDOT desto for Sydney operators (STA, Hillsbus etc)?
Also which sign is used for the STA LED ones?
Many thanks!

Re: Using Mobi Info Edit (MIE)
Finally got my hands on a copy of Mobitec ZEdit!... one problem though... Occasionally when typing text it will black out and seems to glitch but I'm probably doing something wrong... Any ideas what? Also, does anyone know where I can find a tutorial on how to use Mobitec ZEdit?
Cheers,
