It is interesting to note that they also use "Explorer" in the livery like Sydney.

Transferred to Darwin for the start up of "Darwin Explorer"

425 TV 3594 MCW Metrobus Mk2 MB7047 MCW /83 O55/25D+0
ex MO 201 (ACT) Canberra City Sightseeing,

But no record of what 419 is.

The use of Explorer is because that is the name,we are no longer involved with City Sightseeing.
Parent Company Ensignbus sold off the City Sightseeing name and most operations around the world retaining the Australian Operation and a handful of others which have been re-branded as a consequence

So have Sydney and the Blue Mountains operations also been rebranded and if so, what are they called now?

412 083 IDK MCW Metrobus Mk2 MB MCW
Gold Coast City Sightseeingex WOX 272 (SA) Adelaide City Sightseeing
ex CY 3083 New World First Bus, Hong Kong
ex (ML4) CY 3083 China Motor Bus, Hong Kong

Sold to Doubledeck tours, Darwin NT as m/o 2600 (NT) - rebranded "Darwin Explorer" in 4/13

I recall seeing this on my Darwin visit last June.

As far as I'm aware, it seems that Sydney and Blue Mountains have both separated. Interestingly, Perth's operations continue to be operated under the City Sightseeing franchise and has expanded in recent years, also acquiring the Perth Tram Co and their double decker and rebranding that to City Sightseeing. Tram operations are branded differently, but the operation of both the Sightseeing buses and tourist trams come under the same company.

Worldwide, City Sightseeing brand still thrives in many cities, especially some of the recent places I have visited.

The Sydney operation is "Sydney & Bondi Explorer", buses have been branded as such over the last few months.

Darwin is "Darwin Explorer".

I have already suggested to the Sydney fleet list people that they should change the fleet list name to reflect that although I did not include Bondi - I hope they read this.
