Noted a HBL bus (I think 127?) in Samford yesterday.

It had many passengers onboard too

A westside bus was involved in an incident with a car at riverlink in ipswich. Only heard it second hand so unsure of circumstances or fleet number.

Doesn't look too bad from picture; driver and all passengers unhurt.

Just a question, do Red and White Coaches cover the Shorncliffe line when there are no trains running (like this weekend) or do they do other lines? Wanted to ride a few of there older coaches.

I intend too, hopefully some older stuff will be out.

EDIT: Operators out today included: Murray's, Red and White, Logan Coaches, Brisbane Bus Lines, Thompsons, Park Ridge Transit, Westside, Kangaroo Bus Lines, Caboolture Bus Lines. There may be some that I have forgotten.

Seen Glasshouse Country Coaches on railbus duties yesturday, doing the Caboolture to Nambour express stopping only at Landsborough

KBL was seen doing the Nambour all-stoppers.

Glasshouse & Logan (Cavbus) have over 15 buses out this weekend most BCI's however I did note two the new No.97 Iveco CB60, plus, NCBC Protege buses and a old 3 axle Merc Coach that are running between Bowen Hills and Caboolture :D

Mt Gravatt had a swarm of around ten low floors join rail around 10pm Saturday including Newby Volvo CB60 and Ben the new MAN CB80 (2 door). The rest were mainly Bustech VST's. We believe they were brought in to help with loadings of passengers from events just finishing :)

Also noted the Griffith Uni Bustech laying over at Morayfield High School from 1pm to 6pm :o

Got to catch 05CBL today to Central on rail work.

A bit odd this bus was out (I thought) as form my count only 3 or 4 Cabolture buses were on rail :?

Mt Gravatt were out last night due to the football crowds. All vehicles were low floor so there would be no issue with standees. There were a number sighted in Caboolture at 1am this morning, a very long way from home for a low floor which normally kicks around in Capalaba and Mt Gravatt.

Noted a 330, 333, 640(x2) & 680(x2) at various times today with near or past fully seated loads

Interesting why these services havn't had a increase in frequency since passenger numbers are high :x

Perhaps frequency (for Saturday timetable) like this;
330 to every 15 minutes. (As per current changes).
333 to every 10 minutes.
640 to every 30 minutes.
680 to every 30 minutes.

14.5m and larger buses than the standard ridged 12.5m bus would also be a help to the 333 and 680 as the bus operators have these vehicles in there depots. (BT having many 14.5m buses in the fleet & HBL having four 14.5m buses that are currently not in use on the weekend.

Especially since there are buses just sitting around in depots might as well us them....

333 upgrade would not really be needed because when the 340 is BUZed tomorrow, it will be stopping at all the 333 stops between Chermside and King George Square (before going to the Gabba direct), so there will be one every 7-8 minutes minimum already all day long.

640 - agree

680 could probably go to every 15 min, same with the 660 (at least Monday-Friday).

Was on a 333 yesterday - fully seated and standing midday on a Saturday - the upgraded 330 and 340 are definently needed.

IMO, 660 should be every 15 mins Mon-Sat (from 6am till 9pm Mon-Fri and 6am-6pm Sat) and every 30mins on Sundays (from 7am till 6pm).

The 660 is another over populated route and I agree every 15mins weekdays would be a good increase :)

333 should follow 375's stopping patterns from Lutwyche Station, it would increase in passenger loads and get more people on the Lutwyche Rd corridor to use PT. 375 be BUZ as highlighted before after 6 RBWH-VALLEY-CITY running every 30 minutes yet RBWH via KG to CITY running every 7.5mins after 6pm on weekends?
333, 330, 340, 385 should be upgraded to high capacity vehicle status!

Hornibrook have changed their destos. The number is on the left (groan), and instead of 'Scarborough', now the 680s read 'Redcliffe'.
