Fleet-list has 2306 as a Volvo B12BLE Euro 5 with a CB60 Evo III body and either at Belmont or Gordon st Hamilton depots and 2376 is a Volvo B7RLE with a Volgren CR228L body and at either Belmont or Gordon st Hamilton.

What type of bus is STA's 2379? (Issue with other thread)

Postby Newcastle Flyer » Wed Mar 14, 2012 6:02 pm

I attempted to post this in another thread, but for some reason, I had some issues with the thread I made. So it may look as if it's posted twice, when it isn't.

Okay I found the information for Newcastle's STA 2306 bus, but what type of Volvo bus is Newcastle's STA 2379. All that came close on the STA bus fleet page was this: http://www.statetransit.info/bus-fleet/volvo-b7rle. I just found the Bus Australia fleet lists, but cna't find any mention of 2379.

A search in the fleet lists for 2379 ST certainly finds it. And there has been no change since 15/11/2011 on it. http://www.busaustralia.com/fleetlists/ ... ype=2379ST

Something weird is going on here. NOTE: The reply is timed BEFORE the question was posed.

This is thread number 66190 but I found the reply as thread 66188 without the question. Was the question posed earlier in thread 66188 and then deleted after the reply was posted but before it was approved and then reposted later as a different thread?

I combined the two threads,

That's what I mean Fleet Lists, their is something strange happening with this site. Bedford's reply comes before my original post :? :? .

No Fleet lists, I made a thread in the news & admin section about it.

After I found the info for 2306, I tried to edit it to say so, but for some odd reason, when I pressed submit, it showed a note "last edit by Newcastle Flyer at XXXX, but that should only happen if a person replies before you edit it. It made a mess of it, so I deleted it, but noted that the title was still there, it came up though as thread does not exist.

NO - the reply was posted by Bedford-29 for approval PRIOR to your deleting the original post and probably before you tried to edit it hence the topic line stayed. One of these things which are very hard to prevent.
