Post by NewcastleBuses »

A certain board member had 3055 out on a 406 a couple of weeks ago, a rare occurence. I took the opportunity to get a few shots.

Why does all the good stuff always happen when I'm away on holidays.
There will be none left by the time I resume work.
I hope our newest gunzel member enjoyed his romp in 3055.
Hes trained on gas buses now so it won't happen again.

Now onto the important part, is 3055 a good bus?

It goes like the clappers, or did last time I drove it but the gearbox is very sloppy.

A similar state could be said of many of the revelers after Saturday night's festivities

3055 also holds another unusual record as it was painted very early into Corporate livery but then actually went back into its previous older style STA livery and then back into Corporate livery. I think it was the only bus ever to receive this treatment :!:
I also have the photos to prove it.
Bring back the Leopards!

I'd like to see them! :)

I remember there was one or two Burwood mk4's painted early on and the blue upsweep did not quite go over the top, but formed a point on the offside corner there was no red line - they ran around like that for a while and I was thinking that's another new livery, until I saw a Burwood mk2 fresh from a repaint with the red line
