Spotted this afternoon (Sunday February 5th), 2 new buses for Sita (West Footscray):

#117 Volvo B7RLE / Volgren CR228L- Rego: 8464 (on Route 451 ex Sunshine at 17:00)
#118 Volvo B7RLE / Volgren CR228L- Rego: 8466 (on rail replacement duties at Laverton Station at 18:00)

Both must be fairly recent additions... neither have any signwriting or advertising on them.

In support of Apollo, all I recall Pollards having was one coach (a Benz?) and a (Hino) mini and trailer and one driver (a top bloke called Steve) other than the owner. Steve relocated to Hastings...I think both their vehicles went (and at the time with the sale of licences) to Crown.

I also saw #61 (8811AO) around 11am this morning.

(I believe they're actually the 3700 model.)

It may have been doing the Melbourne City Tourist shuttle today - in a quick glance I saw "free" on the desto.
Apparently this bus will be seen regularly on the MCTS service and was in the process of a livery change from Driver to MCTS when I sighted it plain white.

I don't know whether it is an additional vehicle for the service or replacing one of the existing four.
Sighted this vehicle inbound on the Monash Freeway this morning. For the record, it has received MCTS signage, but not the full MCTS livery.

Spotted at about 2:35PM today was the Christians K280IB, Higer "A30" heading towards the city on the Princes Freeway, on rail-replacements duty. On Fleetlists, it says that it is unsure which depot it belongs to but because it was doing Geelong rail-replacements, would it be incorrect of me to assume it belongs to Ocean Grove due to the age of some of the buses that are at the Ocean Grove depot?

Thanks,

According to an industry source from the region it is believed to be Warrnambool based, however there is a second one at Ararat which may also be drafted in for rail duties.

Panorama Bus 38 (MAN SL202/Ansair) was finally repainted and has had the new livery applied over the summer holidays, as well as a thorough cleaning to the interior (however, still no desto)

I'll try and get a few pics in the coming days, as it looks fantastic

Apollo,

From your Avitar you might be interested to know I saw a former Australian Coach Travel coach at the Mansfield Zoo over the weekend. With my failing eyesight it appeared to be an old 03033.

Spotted a Skybus King Long coach heading out of Melbourne at Seville just after 13:30 this afternoon. Not somewhere I'd normally expect to see them on charter.

Kind Regards

Craig :)

Noted leaving Chadstone around 3, after laying over since at least 1230, this afternoon was sunshine coaches Volvo B10M twin deck. Not sure if it was operating the shuttle operated by Melbourne on the move or an unrelated charter.

Well ,thats what happens when you race a tram. I come through there everyday just about, theres flashing lights and plenty of vision. ALTHOUGH the trams hardly slow down to be honest.
