I think i saw a New AOA on 1362 last week it was a bright red one but not sure what AOA was? Hopefully someone like HFB, Herbert, Mr OC Benz or someone else can confirm what it is

PTA / Transperth observations - February 2012

Postby Bus 400 » Thu Feb 02, 2012 12:23 pm

This looked like it fitted here to me, but today I noticed 2 CNG Mercedes Benz Transperth buses sitting in a yard near the WA Licensing Services in Queens Park. There appeared to be a lot of trucks with them in this yard.
I was unable to see the fleet numbers though.

I spotted one of the CAT buses waiting to go over the pits at the Welshpool licensing centre on the way to work this morning (approx 0700). Buses are a common sight there as it's the only licensing centre in Perth which doesn't require appointments or restrictions for heavy vehicle examinations. In the months leading up to the end of financial year, it is virtually non-stop with the queue of vehicles spilling out onto the road.

Bus 1211 is out on Fremantle Blue CAT's today. I am right in thinking there are normally 2 buses painted in Fremantle CAT livery?

1211 and 1212 Q4004. 1210 isn't CAT Radio Equipped so it's only used if both 1211 & 1212 are already out on normal running or are unavailable for some other reason.

Short running 507. Runs on school days only, usually an artic to cater for the high number of WSHS students; said run departs Riverton Forum and travels via Willeri Drv, Killara Ave and NR to Bull Creek Station.
Silver things overwhelming the Canning contract area..
