Pantographs on Red Rattlers at Central's bookshop?

Ben_Daui may have some. There's about one cars' height from the roof to the wire, as a single deck 1927, 1940 or 1955 car is about the same from top to bottom as the first deck of a Comeng.

The HO scale red rattlers are produced by Bergs hobbies of Parramatta.
I don't have any red rattlers yet.

I emailed them to get the height info. I'm pretty sure it's right, as the current DD cars have about that height from the first deck to the wire.

Going by those pictures that Ben_Daui posted, the pantographs seem to be about right. Perhaps if the real ones were extending fully, they might have looked like a narrow diamond shape.

Good grief, as for those couplers?? Those couplers certain distract from the toy, ur model.
Good Grief no. 2: Yikes $595 just for a power car, and three shells, with no interiors, etc, no working headlights (not that I know of), and with those sort of couplers?

From what I can see is that the early Sydney suburban didn't have working lights the latest batch do have working marker lights.

With the last picture that gravesend_king posted, the toys, um sorry models looks to have the pantograph extending to around about halfway up the first "M" of Minimodels.

Edit: Further to those pictures gravesend_king posted, the wheels look terribly thick. While they need to compensate for the scale, don't think the wheels need to be that thick.

Depends on what size wheels you use. There are varying standards.

You'll never get an exact replica of the real thing in a scale model.

So there will always be some sort of imperfection on a model, no matter how good the creator is.

The whole point of modeling is to capture the imagination of the real thing.

Gravesend_king, we know that a model won't be 100% accurate, and need to compromise here and there, but I'm talking (sorry typing) about noticable errors that could be avoided. When you have a chance, go into Central's book store, or any store that has the pantographs on these raised, and just see how it distracts from the model.

Oh great, I accidentally edited the first post, when I meant to quote part of it (insert bang head on wall smiley!).

But the main subject was were the pantograph as tall as they are shown at Central Station's (Oh sorry RailCorp I mean Central(i) Station!) Railway Bookshop.

But the first post does show if you click on the link, that leads to Berg's Hobbie's auction site, shows exactly how the pantographs are shown at the Central Station book shop, and how tall they seem to be.
Gravesend_King link to the Minimodel here show approximately what they should be. Unless you could possibly of extended the real Red Rattler & related carriages pantographs similar to the Berg's Hobbies pantograph.
