It will be better to be spent to buy 5000 buses to replace the entire Central Coast, Newcastle, Blue Mountains, South Coast and Southern Highlands Services - which will be 90% cheaper - Metroline

This completion of the $22 million Dunmore passing loop, unfortunately, results in lengthened journey time of up to 6 minutes.

Hi SG,
Can you please tell me why it's so?

Thanks,

Will the new Dunmore passing loop includes the new Flinders Station?

I gather that was the idea. I notice at the top of the passing loop nearest the road bridge, the overhead supports have been placed sufficiently back from the track to allow for the new platforms.

These TT changes are for the interim. The upcoming 2012 TT (some time in October) will see more changes.

It's envisaged that the 2012 weekend TT will most likely have Lidcombe/Homebush turnbacks come into full use.
