Ex-ACTION BUS-803 is pretty in pink!

Post by Sir Pompously »

Saw 803 getting an inspection performed at Dickson RUS yesterday, waited around for it to come out of the inspection bay where it parked up just outside while the owner finalised the paperwork. Saw it again today on the Monaro Highway near Old Tuggeranong Hill with for hire signs on the rear and side windows and it has been re-registered YHT-20M.

You would not have any problem knowing its ex 803 it would stick out like a sore thumb in that color.

Am interested to know how Bedford-29 would pick it as being ex 803 if there was no number prominately displayed on the bus & the photographer didn't tell you

I think what he means is that now we know what bus is painted pink, we will have no problems identifying it. If there was no number it would certainly be made alot harder to identify (I am glad the number was left on), however a quick chat to the driver for a look in the cab (The old number residue on the desto box trick) or a look at the VIN and you would be able to identify it.
