Notices on the Metro Shop move are up on the hexagonal timetable stands in the mall.

Also, 216 was having a bit of trouble around 1pm today. Looks like it ran out of water in the engine, as ten minutes after I took this picture she was up and going. They had filled her up on the right-hand back side. Can anyone confirm what was happening here? They were playing with the engine a bit too.

Yeh, she was sitting on 100 degrees, to they changed her over and sent mechanics to fix. You must have just missed me, as I came round the corner whilst the mechanics were there (mind you, that was at 1.35pm)

Low water or a leak somewhere. I was heading over to Risdon Vale as it pulled in.

Hi TBN G.E.T i think usually stay at Riverview Motel / Villas usually in the villas or Balmoral. It is operated by Bendigo Coachlines.
The curse of all Coach Captains is the dreaded ARB's. (see if you can work out what ARB stands for)

Thanks Adam. I'll go for a bo-peep before work tomorrow. Cheers (I was heading north coming over Clearys Gates when I spotted it coming the other direction, so NO CHANCE of a shot)

Also, 629 was headed back to Burnie this morning - some Bridgewater drivers went into early stages of panic that two drivers were off to do the first Brighton run

Drivers have been told not to mention service changes to passengers that are occuring in April. This is the first I've heard that there *were* service changes happening in April...

Ah, I thought she was running hot. Yeah, it was around 12.45pm I snapped this pic. You probably came around the corner when I was in Dome having a nice cuppa and a bowl of chips

AND back in the panel shop

A driver this morning was allocated #140 :?: :?: Didn't know it had returned from the dead  Doug must be leasing it back.

#620 sent back FROM Burnie to replace #629. Be interesting to see if #620 retains it's AOA for Neighbourhood Watch :?

O'Driscoll Coaches #13 (M.A.N. 14.240) being used on Cruise Ship shuttles today. Highway Traveller was CAUGHT sniffing around it at the Travel Cnt, but he was too deaf to hear a bus tooting it's horn   AND again when he was gas-bagging with drivers from AAT/Kings @ Grand Chancellor

Coach #11 (ex Hbt Coaches) is in panel shop being re-panelled. Talking to regular driver and he said he heard it was going north :?:

"Celebrity Century" Cruise Ship in Hobart today. Unfortunately didn't manage any snaps. Hopefully someone else did.

Also, did anyone manage any snaps of the Mawson Centennial Ceremonial sail-past for anniversary of Mawson's journey

Spotted O'Drocolls blue-fronted MAN working the shuttle from the Regatta Grounds to City/Salamanca.
Has it seen any other active service as yet?

Have noticed a couple of letters to the editor of "The Mercury" complaining about the numbnuts using Argyle Street Car park blocking the intersections. From the 1st December when the new Woolworths Hobart CBD opened there are more spaces available in the car park. At present there is now approximately 840 spaces. once the other extra spaces are available it should hopefully solve that problem. On Friday the car park was full for less than 10 minutes. Once the full compliment of spaces are available hopefully the queueing problem will cease. On another note the Metro bus stop in Liverpool Street has been moved up a bit further and the loading zone has been moved back to nearer Speed Feed. Also the 5 minute zone that used to be before the Bank Arcade entrance has been removed. Also the bus shelter has been moved further uo the street'

Letters about carpark were from Metro drivers  Used NEW section of carpark today. Seemed strange, like I was in a different City  Noticed bus stop moved further west in Liverpol St. Hopefully we can get on there now  Was worried about the impact of Woolies opening, but was surprised there wasn't a queue problem since Thursday's opening. Hopefully problem solved

:!: :!: According to a friend on Facebook, tonight a driver and bus was attacked on the outward 118 route in Claremont; after a biker and I quote:
"gets on, says the driver nearly ran him off the road and then proceeds to steal the til, throw his helmet at the driver, try and beat up the driver. Then when the driver pushes him off he stands infront of the bus, snaps off the windscreen wipers, pull out a street sign and smashes the windscreen, drivers window and electronic sign up the top!"

Not sure on specifics like bus number, but it's apparently a newer Scania CB60. This isn't good IF it is true :!: if anyone can clarify this then please do.

Sadly, yes it is true. Driver hospitalised briefly but thankfully no serious injury. A truly pathetic situation. Offender apprehended, lets see what our limp-wristed court system decides.

Good to hear the Driver is ok,no doubt the offender will get a smack on both rists and let go. The court or legal system is a joke, the scroats out there get away with anything and they know they can
