Transit Australia Group Fleet Changes (Surfside/Sunbus)

Post by 08 XDi »

I think monthly updates are a bit of a waste of time at present. I've taken this opportunity to simply start a thread which will collect all the fleet updates, which should stop a bit of the repetition we have seen in recent months.

The training was done on 11th of december.

With the thought of changing the monthly thread to yearly, why not change it to TAG Fleet Changes? We wont even get the numbers confused, as Sunbus is 4 digit and Surfside is 3.

Would agree with the idea of changing this to Transit Australia Group fleet changes. Buses regularly gets transferred between Ernest depot and Marcoola depot (even if most transfers are in the one direction atm).

It WAS an ISC, then fitted with an ISL, then when it blew up it must've been swapped back to the ISC.

Good call - I can't do that but I have flagged for the mods.

Should make it much easier for Hornibrook to update listings and for everybody to backtrack and find reported information.

Spotted a new XDI for Sunbus, unsure what depot. Rego 058-RMU? It's in full Translink livery with logos and new swirls below windows.

Any Sunbuses in the TransLink livery are usually bound for Sunshine Coast (Marcoola). They are the only Sunbus depot to use the TransLink livery.

The 2nd Sunshine Coast Sunbus depot (at Caloundra's Sunshine Coast Industrial Park) has been operational for a while now. Cnr Fred Chaplin Court and Racecourse Road, Meridan Plains.

Bus Allocation between Marcoola and Caloundra depots is unknown. (Some buses have been transferred from Marcoola to Caloundra).

News from the sunny coast!
5526 and 5731-5756 are based at the new depot at Caloundra.
The depot is built 'exactly the same' as Surfside's new Coomera depot that will be finished in March/April.
5636 is 658 RIT
5637 is 057RMU, with a VST front
