NEW Expanded Bus Services

The Territory Government is expanding public bus services from 4 October 2010 providing more public transport options for commuters.
The new semi-express Orbital Link services OL1 and OL2, linking Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston Interchanges, will complement existing routes and operate Monday to Friday during peak hours: mornings (6:15am - 9:15am) and afternoons (3:15pm - 6:15pm).
The semi-express orbital services will deliver a fast, frequent and reliable public transport alternative between interchanges, particularly for work commuters, ensuring a maximum wait time of 20 minutes.
New and extended services
•New Orbital Link 1 - servicing Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston Interchanges.
•New Orbital Link 2 - servicing Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston Interchanges.
•New Connector 76 - servicing Palmerston suburbs connecting with the Orbital Link services at Palmerston Interchange.
•Extended Route 28 - servicing Humpty Doo and Coolalinga via Palmerston Interchange to Darwin Interchange.
•Extended Route 2 - servicing the new suburb of Lyons to Casuarina Interchange.
•New Route 7 - servicing Stuart Park, Bayview and Tipperary Waters to Darwin Interchange.
