Found this very interest Marcopolo Hybrid bus from Spain? note the 2 front axles , brings back memories of seeing twin steer Bedford House buses.

Don`t forget there is Twin steer Scania`s here in Australia with Hi-deck with bus and coach company`s like Murray`s Canberra ACT and Surfcity on the Gold coast here QLD and Hopkinson at Merrylands in Sydney but here is a picture of the Twin steer hybrid bus from AC Transit San Pablo Brazil picture from Wikipedia.

We know there are ample 8 wheeler twin steers (definitely in Australia at least), but 6 wheeler twin steers are the much rarer beast. I think that's what the author of the thread was more interested in.

These buses have electric motors by Eletra the engine is by Nav-International Brazil and the body is by as you know by Marcopolo and by the picture on the Eletra website there is a two axle version of this bus beside the twin steer model.

I've never seen a Chinese 6 bus before, but I have seen Chinese 6 trucks before, albeit on the net and in magazines.

Japanese 6 trucks are quite popular in NZ as Vacum tankers. They are also popular to import and convert to an 8x4. However I've only seen Mitsi examples.

Irisbus have a twin steer prototype as well, the Hynovis. Very futuristic (or dead-end) driveline.

This seems to be a resurrection of the Bedford VAL concept of using two small diameter wheels at the front.

I recall seeing concept drawings of a London Routemaster replacement that had a similar set up.
