Today I visited Maryborough and photographed Pacific National 8308,an unidentifed QR SMU set,and a Transperth set outside the EDI facility, at the Old Maryborough Station was SMU 273 and at Maryborough West was SMU 274, all awaiting delivery.

Great shots there Car177. Some really impressive bits and pieces. 'Set 84' is looking good.
If it's not a ZF, take it back!

Great pics there Car177. Keep 'em coming please.
I particularly like the 2nd pic with the 3 new units (PN, TP & QR) in the same pic. It also shows the difference in front end styling between the the TransPerth & QR Citytrain units. The QR units would look better with the same headlight set up as the TransPerth units.

Are the TP and QR trains made by Bombardier?
The TP looks like a V/line Vlocity, except for a few minor details and a different headlight set-up.
Thanks,

Designed by Bombardier, built by EDI (obviously considering where the photos are taken).Mitch wrote:Are the TP and QR trains made by Bombardier?

Are those 83 class locos vaguely based on the NR or LDP class? I must say they look ok, where abouts are they planned on being sent?

They're essentially just more PN class, but its not suprising they share looks with the LDP, same builder!Grenda Driver wrote:Are those 83 class locos vaguely based on the NR or LDP class? I must say they look ok, where abouts are they planned on being sent?
