Take 2 - Guildford Rd prior to Tonkin Hwy.

Even though I didn't take the photo I don't think it is there. I live near there I don't remember seeing a hill that steep with bush surrounding. Also the fence doesn't match with that scene. But if you are correct I'll be stumped!

Correct! The median strip is still there, as is the pine tree in the background, though there's now a retirement village in that vicinity. Well done.

Thanks - considering the bus was on it's way to Geraldton and earlier clues put it in the city. Then it dawned on me where it was!
