Try blue VINYL seats, definately weren't leather!!
Old HC#50 Scania K113 Apollo (went to Medwins) had CRUSHED VELOUR seats when new!!

HC #5 was the bus I wanted to buy, Damn nice bus, top condition inside and out, obviously well looked after. Went to a Snug Bus Company.

Was a pretty quick bus too. Some Mercedes that old are gut-less and about as powerful as a lawn mower, but not trusty old HC #5.

Driver of exHC #5 now works at metro anyway.

May have been better than what you were used to, however the OH1418 was NEVER an overpowered piece of equipment. Oakleys has it now I think. It was initially BRAND NEW to Hobart Coaches in Hazell's days, being brought exclusively for the new Norfolk services, as was HC#4(ex #53). HC#5 was (ex#52).
