Is there any chance the fleetlists could be changed so the XDis can be listed as "XDi - VST front" for the older ones and plain "XDi" for the new fronted ones?
This would make more sense, as the new front is now standard.

No nope never. I have already changed it before, I am not doing it again. How are they VST fronts?

They have the face of a VST which is a squareish look. Where as the newer XDI's are more of a smiley faced front. 441, 469-500 all have the VST fronts. Where as 440(demo), 442-450, 300-312 have the XDI fronts. I agree with BUSTECH RULES. This will actually make it correct. This could also be changed with the MDI's. 459, 460, 462-465 have the VST front where as 461(demo) has the newer front.

I'm gonna consult with a friend at Bustech before I make any alterations. I have already changed them numerous times being New Front, 2008/9 Front now just Front.

300-313, 440 and 443-450 you mean. 442 has the original moulding fitted.

So if I am understanding this right, you want me to put for the earlier XDi/MDi's - VST Front? In saying that wouldn't this apply to the Graduate as well? It is just a standard front which has been improved on the newer models.

The Graduate has only changed names, never the frontal design. It's now the "SBV."

I know that, but the point I was trying to get across was if I would change the earlier designed MDi and XDi models to MDi (VST Front) wouldn't this also be correct for the Graduate? And if I did change the MDi/XDi I would have to change the Graduate to Graduate (VST Front). Just because one type of bus uses a specific style/layout/look doesn't specifically mean that this is the standard. For all we know it is just a Front which has been improved in newer models - not just a VST Front.

For MDis and XDis I think the simplest solution is simply to describe the body as a Bustech (basically as a placeholder), and the chassis as whatever it happens to be (eg Bustech MDi (CAT C7), Bustech XDi (Cummins ISC etc).

If it is an early XDi or MDi which bears the VST front moulding, we should just include that in the notes. There won't be any more like that, so that is the easiest way to set those early ones apart from the ones with the new moulding.

469, 470, 471 and 472 all moved to Tweed depot. Unsure if this is on a permanent basis. Reason being Earnest depot not having enough room.

738 is back at ernest, saw it on a run on Brisbane road. i don't know if this is true but 446 yesterday broke down (something wrong with the a/c) and was swapped with 888 and this is why i thing 888 is at ernest and 446 at tweed being fixed (as i said this is what i have concluded).

Are you certain 319 is a VST. It seems unusual that its a Volvo with a XDI front, as they haven't changed the VST front.

I think you will find that 319 is actually ex Sunbus 5723 which was in the accident - now has a new Front on it.
