Another great bunch, thanks venturatiger.

760 was for the ACT Institute of Sport (as opposed to the Australian Institute of Sport).

The Australian National Botanic Gardens AOA on 880 looks rather interesting. An AOA would look great on one of ACTION's newer buses I reckon! :P

Obviously NONE of these AOAs would have generated revenue for ACTION. ALL Government organisations  Do they have any AOAs which may advertise actual businesses

Most of those buses have been repainted into corporate livery, at the moment ACTION's AOA's are:
-IMB Banking x1
-Westfield Belconnen x 1
-ACTEWAGL/TransACT x 1
-ACT Health x 1-
-ACTION's new (2008) slogan Going Your Way
-ACTION-Save fossil fuels.
-Aboriginal (not 982 as pictured above-due to incident)

A full list (past & present) can be found at http://www.actbus.net/fleetwiki/index.p ... e=AOA_List
-Canberra's sister city Nara, Japan.

As Canberra is the Nations Capital, it is fair for the local Government (Was Federal, now Territory) operator to advertise the locally owned and national institutions. These have been painted over in the last few years, we currently only have the special livery on 992 advertising Canberra - Sister City of Nara Japan (As well as the Fossil Fuels livery). They would not have generated money for the institutions, considering a fair amount of the institutions are actually free. In short, they were not designed to raise revenue, most of these were painted before the bus entered service and were purely designed to show off various Government organisations in the ACT, they are not considered an AOA (As they are not advertising, rather celebrating) but a special livery.

They did have many adverts in the past and present which advertise products and generate revenue.
