Random Northern suburbs shots
Took these shots in the last few months
59 enters Warwick interchange from Beach Road
61 at Stirling interchange on route 410
625 Rockets down Beach road Warwick on route 445
732 bends its way into Warwick interchange on route 444
1013 approaches Moolanda Boulevard Kingsley on route 447
1072 entering Warwick interchange not in service (lazy driver has left previous route numbers up) I see this from time to time, suspect it is the same driver, the other day I saw the same bus doing a 372 on Beach road Warwick and the 372 doesnt run anywhere near Warwick or Whitford i/c's
1098 rockets down Beach road Warwick on Herberts favourite route 64
1122 on Dorchester Avenue Warwick on route 445
1189 departs Stirling Interchange on route 421 to Scarborough Beach
1201 on Beach Road Warwick on route 447
Cheers

YEH!! What is with the "wave" on the destination??????
ALSO, what are those "sensors" above the doors??? Is that if a passenger gets caught in the doorway or what??

I knew that! The 64 isnt much fun to ride on either! Yep I cop a wave more often than the bird these days so I suspect most drivers have seen me lining there buses up and not themselves. Means I dont have to photoshop them out!Herbert wrote:NOT! I see you got a wave there.UQB003 wrote:... 1098 rockets down Beach road Warwick on Herberts favourite route 64

The desto 'scrolls' between the waves and the destination, probably benefits the tourists I reckon.Tas Bus Nut wrote:YEH!! What is with the "wave" on the destination??????

Same with ACTION's PR100.2 & PR180.2's, the rest can't drive with front or back door openUQB003 wrote:Perth buses cant move with the rear door open, front door is fine.

Re: Random Northern suburbs shots
No bus made after about 1995ish onwards is able to. That has to do with it also being illegal to drive with the bus doors open. But on a hot day in an old bus, the doors open is the best air conditioning. Especially on an 825 from Fremantle to Rockingham & the bus being boiling hot until you get the cool breeze blow in through the doors as soon as you hit Rocky Council borderespguy wrote:I'd never been on any of the green-and-silvers that were driven with their front doors open EVER, I thought perhaps that wasn't possible??

If your refering to what i think your refering to, that bar across the top of the doors contains a fluro light that illuminates (When they're working) when the dors open for alighting at night.Tas Bus Nut wrote:ALSO, what are those "sensors" above the doors??? That person is not waving, they're drowning.Tas Bus Nut wrote:YEH!! What is with the "wave" on the destination??????

They're not sensors, they're lights.
Cheers!
