Here are the pics of those buses.

Except for Worldmaster 907 & Albion 68, the rest are on a private property out Ipswich way.
Not sure of the plans for these vehicles.

Here is the White semi-trailer in better days running I believe between Brisbane and Murrwillumbah in the late 60s.

Shame we can't see the poor Swift 760 housed in a giant shed and stripped of it's red paint. Some of the Adelaide silver is already showing on the front from the peeling paint.looks like it has possibly been narrowed too from the distance of the wheels from the edge.Is it for sale?

Wow,exciting to see a Worldmaster operating!Top looker of a bus.

I am not sure if it is For Sale. It has 3 x 2 seating and does need some tender loving care (TLC). The pod on the roof is broken.

Re Boronia's photo of #8, I think by the time this photo was taken the bus had gone to Beachmere bus service (near Caboolture - north of Brisbane) the countryside certainly looks more like that around Caboolture than that between Brisbane and Murwillumbah. The Beachmere livery was white and pale blue.

Dont think so as narrowing wasnt required for these buses to operate in QLD hence why so many swifts and B59's went there.
Volvo B12BLEA wrote:It has 3 x 2 seating
Well that would have to go as they never had 3 + 2 seating when in service in Adelaide, obviously a retrofit done in QLD.

This is quite possible. Checking my old notes further, the photo was probably taken in July 1970, possibly somewhere between Nambour and Brisbane, going the by the other photos on this roll of film.

I will defer to your detailed knowledge, thanks to all for the help.

I drove past those ex BCC Fuji's today (on Pine Mountain Road at Borallan). It looks like they've been joined by a few other oldies including an ex McCafferty's Landseer and another unidentified Landseer that seems to be missing a big chunk of it's front header and nearside front side.

Can anybody shed any light on why they're there and what they are being used for? I'm very curious about the accident damaged Landseer too. Sorry I couldn't get pics today, didn't have my camera in the car.

The buses and the property are owned by Wally Horwood.
I beleive the accident damaged Landseer was involved in a Fatal collision, not sure exactly when. Also I beleive it is being used as a source of spare parts.

Thanks B12BLEA, looks like Wally has quiet an interesting collection there. I gather he's an enthusiast and not a current operator. Beautiful property out there too!

Cheers

Hello all bus and coach lovers.

I was following up something to do with this old thread and realized that I think I know one of the three last buses that were in question.

It's the Bedford with orange and I'm sure it belonged to Cox's in Gladstone.
Last time I saw it would have been about 1983.

The reason I was on the topic was to research the White semi trailer bus, which I believe I have one of the trailer chassis of, although it is converted to a low-loader.

Since I last looked at the topic in 2009, I have seen one of the prime movers under restoration at Barry Watt's in Brisbane.

Cheers.

It could be ex GBC-63 ? It went out of service early 90's.
