[BNE] New Park Ridge and old Veolia

[BNE] New Park Ridge and old Veolia

Hi all

Had a surprise tonight while chasing footy shuttles – three new Volvo B12BLE Bustech VSTs for Park Ridge Transit. PRT065, PRT066 and PRT067 are all in TRANSLink livery. Here are shots of both 65 and 66 passing Garden City Depot.

Also out for Park Ridge Transit was 23, a Scania L113CRL/Volgren. Seen in the pouring rain passing Garden City depot.

PRT049, a Scania K94IB/Volgren was also doing shuttles tonight.

And finally, from Veolia is this Austral Allstar number 199.

Looks like you did quite well in what is generally awful lighting for photography :). I like the last shot.

Great pic of the Austral Allstar.
It's a 1991 vintage Cummins with automatic transmission but i don't know which model Cummins or make of gearbox.
During school terms, most peak hour expresses are worked by coaches.

Excellent photos under very trying conditions.
These pics were taken during some very heavy rain and dark skies as a result of the rain.

Did anybody notice the location of the Qld Govt. logo on the side of PRT065 & PRT066?

Nice observation MAN 18.310, the TRANSLink logos are also in a slightly different spot too, they're normally more towards the middle.

Super old reply - but that Allstar has an Alison Automatic. Good news too it's being kept in service (just got it back from heavy automatics where it went for a rebuild). Here's a recent pic. Unfortunately the desto is permanently "out of service".
