Westrans Sunshine- Metlink reprints

Hi Everyone,

Obtained today on the bus was a new edition (reprint) of the Route 410- Sunshine to Footscray timetable, and is dated: December 4, 2006.
Train connection times also remain the same.

I had assumed that in this edition, Metlink may have included a couple of the extra time points along the route (ie. Rosemond Road / Ballarat Road), but have decided to only list the four currently used.

Westrans Sunshine.

Picked up at Watergardens S/C Info Desk today.

Route 419 St Albans - Watergardens

And

Routes 422 & 425 St Albans -Delahey/Watergardens reprimted bus timetables both dated 1st October, 2007.

Both Metlink DL Format.

New style of route map (Route map colours for route 419 & 422 are orange & 425 is dark blue).

Both timetables now shows wheelchair accessible symbol with trip marked 'w' shows on selected bus times and all weekend runs wheelchairs accessible low floor bus.

Further to Bradley's post above, please note:

On the 419 timetable, the 6.26am and 7.45 am trips ex. St. Albans to Watergardens (and the 7.05am Watergardens to St. Albans) are NOT run by low floor buses. This was the case sometime ago, however when the rosters changed, the bus doing those runs was moved to the 425 instead.

The 6.06am Taylors Lakes to Watergardens trip IS run by a low floor.

This timetable, and the 422/425 allow for 2 high floor buses to run on dedicated trips on Saturdays, however this is not the case. ALL Saturday services are run by low floor buses, and if a high floor does need to go out, it could be on any run.

Must say though, the route map on the 422/425 is a huge improvement with 2 different colours used to differenciated between the 2 routes.

408 has been reprinted.
Effective 1 October 2007.
it has the new style route map.

it now show what service are wheelchairs accessible low floor buses.

but the 7.40am.8.20am,9.20am,10.00am,11.00am,11,40am,12.40pm,1.20pm,
2.20pm,3.00pm,4.00pm,4.40pm,5.40pm,6.20pm,7.20pm from ST.Albans

and 7.30am.8.30am,9.10am,10.10am,10.50am,11.50am,12.30pm,1.30pm, 2.10pm,3.10pm,3.50pm,4.50pm,5.30pm,6.30pm,7.10pm from highpont
are low-floor runs.but not listed as them

Not a good sign about the introduction of min standards on the 408 then if Westrans are willing to print a reprint with the new train timetable.

yes.last i hear from westrans sunshine is there still having problems with DOI.
i think 408 wont get for a while yet

In addition to the timetables already mentioned, Route 421 St Albans to Watergardens has also been reprinted effective 1 October 2007 with the new style of route map.

I finally got a copy of that today - I noted that the 422/425 map is featured instead.

Dear All

Picked up two reprints onboard a bus this afternoon:
Routes 423 & 424 (St Albans - Brimbank) - effective 9 June 2008
Route 461 (Watergardens - Taylors Hill) - effective 30 June 2008

Train connections in both have been revised and have had their route maps updated to the new style, with the 423/424 map continuing to show 422.

The 423/424 timetable also now details which weekday trips are normally run with low floor buses. All Saturday services are advised as being low floor.
