Thanks venturatiger, have been enjoying these Dandy posts, especially the Newnham bodies.
Can anyone put me out of my misery by shedding a bit of light on which ex-Perth chassis?venturatiger wrote:... [27] DIT850 was a Newnham Leyland Pacesetter EX Perth Worldmaster chassis ...

Hi Herbert
Our records don't seem to have the MTT fleet number, but the chassis number is 556279 if that is any help. There was another ex MTT Perth vehicle re bodied by Newnham for Mt Dandy at the same time. Its chassis number is 600253. Both were registered in early 1988, so I suppose they came over in 87. They are referred to as a Pacesetter with a 680 engine ex Worldmaster. Further explanations welcomed.

Many thanks, system improver.
556279 was m/o4897 Penrith District Bus Service (NSW); ex-u/r Smithfield Coach Imports; ex-STORED / UQB024 / WAG8024 / UAN139 MTT (24); ex-UAN139 Metropolitan Omnibus Co / Metro (24). I have a note that it was re-engined by the MTT to EO680 in June 1963 (remembering that most MTT Worlies only had EO600s).
600253 was last recorded as being at All Diesels (NSW) (dealer); ex-m/o5503 / m/o284 / m/o4887 Bosnjak Bus Service (Endensor Park NSW); ex-u/r Smithfield Coach Imports; ex-UQB416 / WAG8416 / UAN363 MTT (416). It was one of the few new with an EO680.
Further details of the fate of these two would be a useful addition to the fleet lists.

While I prefer the Ventura livery (no white), I do miss seeing the Mt Dandy Bus livery around, variety is always a nice thing.

Re: [VIC] Mt.Dandybus Part 5 odds & sods
I used to work for Mt. Dandenong passenger service between 1971 and 1980. I'm most keen to obtain photos from that era mainly the following:-
No. 16 Leyland Tiger Cub
No. 17 Bedford
No. 21 Royal Tiger
No. 23 Bedford
No. 25 Hino
No. 26 Leyland Panther
No. 27 Leyland Panther.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
