Another request for a post was the Chester Hill- Bankstown, so here are a few photos of Geoff. Dewey's buses in the 60s.

m/o 130 GMC Propert. Sold out of service to Dulwich Hill Baptist Church.

I think those ads look great and just love that Holden taxi in the photo of m/o.844 :!: :shock:

I love seeing the old signs - how long has it been since the Berger Paint logo looked like that and little would it have been known when these pics were taken how much trouble Hardie's Fibrolite would cause later on.

Yes Andrew,the ads and background visuals make interesting comparisons with today. What about Ern Jones with his Vauxhall car dealership and is that a few future transport enthusiasts peering in the window of the "HOBBY HUT' shop just behind m/o 4227.

Thanks FL. as a said in another thread I just recently found your forum. Pity I didn't know about it years ago (yeah I was running my own forum then lol). Oh well I will keep looking but will enjoy looking around the forum. :)
