Bus Australia Monthly Photos are back!

Postby Ken » Tue Sep 19, 2006 12:24 am

After a bit of an absence they are finally back! And with a new look.

We are still having a new gallery each month, but instead of just uploading one batch of photos we will be putting new pics on throughout the month.

September's gallery so far features quite a number of older photos from all over NSW (big thanks to Ben O for scanning and uploading these), as well as photos of the first day of the new route network in Sydney's "Region 13", operator changes (Baxters in Sydney and Harrison's in Nowra) and much more.

I like the pics of Port Stephens MO2652 CC SB40 and of the Ski Rider MO2771. Good photos this month.

Thanks guys for your efforts. Good to have the gallery back!

I notice it uses the same login as the forums - is it a phpBB extension?

The new gallery is using open source software called Coppermine which has a 'bridging' facility to allow it to work with the phpbb login system rather than people having to have a separate login for the gallery.

I like the entry for bus builder photos that has been talked about previously. I would add one for Comeng though.

The body builders galleries are still under construction, so there will be some gaps at the moment. Companies such as Comeng will be included in due course.

I look forward to seeing a Butterbox in that collection sometime soon!

After 10 years - I happened to come across this thread this morning and thought it was about time we created an album for comeng
So far there are 16 photos shown - I have got up to 99 photos so another 83 to add but as I am about to go away for a few days that will have to wait until after I get back.

No butterboxes that I am aware of.

After an update of the software, this bridging facility has unfortunately not worked for some years now.
