What got up my goat was Trux releasing gazillions of very specialised niche versions of a casting and way too few of one that was bound to be popular and of much wider mainstream interest like the Ryde mark II which was snaffled up in approximately 0.0076 seconds!!
Guess I should be thankful I managed to get the Sydney Explorer which I really wanted as well and got.

I would have liked the Mark III in UTA scheme with any Sydney destos on them. I didn't want a Newcastle one.

I wish I got the Mark III in corporate.

Luv the model of 2706. I hope it wasn't an average unit but still, looks unreal. Everyone I show is impressed by it.
Ones I liked were 2695, 2696, 2698, 2708, 2709 (high speed diff), 2711, 2712, 2714, 2719, 2725 and 2727.

Apparently there was a red Sydney Explorer O305 Trux model that just sold on Ebay for around $60, lucky score to whoever picked up that as I've previously seen that model going for $150 tops.

And the gold one too!

Thanks for reminding me. I just recalled that I have the gold mark III too.
Good to see common sense still exists. Putting on a price on 150 is different to actually getting it.

I don't collect replica models anymore outside of the newer Transit Graphics / Ozbus releases (Mainly due to space / storage concerns) or what is a local replica model (in other words, something that operated once upon a time in my region) but still do like seeing what comes up on Ebay and marketplace, generally in the trux range of things the old Leyland Deckers are very common & reasonably priced. If it's the State Transit or UTA era then I do see the prices go somewhat over $100.

There are a few trux models still on my wishlist but as I said, not into the collecting scene anymore so I'm in no rush to obtain them but if I do then I am happy.
